Birds are mystical creatures, the weaver and the swift that I observed in Malawi amazed me with their home building skills, on a reed by the river or behind a waterfall on rock faces, what seemed precarious to me was safe for them. This work created in my process of the "memory sketch" with free flowing paint brought me the understanding that the small is the brave and with it comes peace. Home is everywhere.
