The elements layered and collaged together in this piece were created years apart and often return and return in my works, the creature-spirit-person was the first done while at sea sailing the North Atlantic, a memory sketch made in an effort to capture a recurring dream. The paper, hand made and imbibed with the “landscape of humanity” that I have seen from Spain to Tanzania, to Jamaica to India. All resonate with me as a kindred spirit, a guide perhaps planting seeds.
